Jameel Ahmed, Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has been appointed Chairman Board of Directors of Deposit Protection Corporation. In pursuance of the Deposit protection Corporation Act 2016, and in the light of federal government notification, the board of director of Deposit Protection Corporation has been appointed Friday.
According to a announcement, Lubna Farooq Malik will be Managing Director of the Deposit Protection Corporation, while Muhammad Kamran Shehzad, Atif R Bukhari, Atif Aslam Bajwa and Shahzad Naqi will be board members. Nominee of Ministry of Finance is still awaited.
