The CFO Conference initiative was taken in 2010 ? a platform to the most unique section of our membership - the PAIBs to share their experiences and insights with each other and the membership at large. Today, as the seventeenth and the eighteenth CFO conference are ready to take off, equally important is to look back at the journey and celebrate the milestones!
2010: Rising CFO
The First CFO Conference 2010 Rising CFO was held at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi, on March 11, 2010 and June 3, 2010 in Islamabad. The Conference was attended by over 600 participants.
2011: Scaling New Heights, Facing New Challenges
CFO Conference 2011 Scaling New Heights, Facing New Challenges was held on March 22, 2011 at Marriot Hotel, Karachi and on April 5, 2011 at PC Lahore. The highlight of the conference was first Professional Excellence Awards.
2012: CFOs-Driving Sustainable Organisational Success
The theme of 2012 of the CFO Conference was CFOs - Driving Sustainable Organisational Success. The primary objective of the CFO Conference 2012 was to explore the key aspects and issues related to creating a faster, leaner and agile finance function and using strategic insight to lead economic growth, establish alliances and shape future opportunities.
2013: CFO - Meeting Future Challenges
2013 CFO Conference was themed CFO - Meeting Future Challenges. The primary objective of the CFO Conference 2013 was to bring together top CFOs to discuss the newest trends and challenges in finance.
2014: From Conformance to leadership - Evolving Role of CFO
From Conformance to leadership - Evolving Role of CFO was the theme of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan's fifth flagship event for 2014.
2015: Sustaining Excellence - Shifting Gears
Sustaining Excellence - Shifting Gears was theme of the sixth CFO event for 2015. For the first time a separate website , social media page and mobile app as well as Live Streaming was carried out for the first time.
2016: Defining New Frontiers, it's a VUCA World ? Adapt-Innovate-Excel
The theme of the seventh ICAP's flagship event for 2016 was Defining New Frontiers, it's a VUCA World-Adapt-Innovate-Excel. The grand event of 2016 for business leaders and finance professionals was held on May 31, 2016 and June 2, 2016 in Karachi and Lahore respectively. The conference participants enjoyed the digital experience and engaged actively through social media - Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Mobile App. Live Streaming was arranged for Overseas members along with drones photography.
2017: Shaping the Future, Connecting the Dots: Learn-Leverage-Lead
The CFO Conference 2017 was themed as Shaping the Future, Connecting the Dots: Learn-Leverage-Lead. The conference provided Live Streaming facility to its members to become part of the event and gain from the intellect and experience of eminent speakers. The conference was attended by large number of professionals from business and industry.
