The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Quetta generated Rs5595 million additional revenue of all the duties and taxes during first three quarters (July to March) FY17-18 against the same corresponding FY16-17, while it took into possession 620 non-duty paid vehicles priced at Rs625 million during nine months of FY17-18.
Collector, Model Customs Collectorate Quetta, Ashraf Ali said that the collectorate Quetta regarding comparative revenue performance between first three quarters (July to March) FY17-18 versus identical duration of FY16-17 showed satisfactory performance during current financial year against the same previous period. He said that the Quetta Collectorate received Rs16605 million under all the heads during FY17-18.
Ashraf Ali said that the MCC Quetta collected Rs6610 million during nine months of FY17-18 while it did Rs3874 million under the CD during the same period. MCC received a revenue of Rs6321million under the head of ST during first three quarters of FY17-18 against a revenue collection of Rs4832 million during the identical previous duration.
The MCC Quetta earned Rs 676 million of AST against a collection of Rs395 million during the identical previous duration. He said that MCC Quetta got Rs1019 million more revenue under the head of Income Tax (IT) during first nine months of FY17-18 against a revenue collection of the same corresponding period. Collectorate generated Rs2738 million income tax during the said period of FY17-18 while it did Rs1719 million under the same head during the identical previous duration.
