As hunt for next caretaker prime minister has already begun, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) agreed on the names of former chief justice Supreme Court Tasaduq Hussain Jillani and former governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Dr Ishrat Hussain, for the top slot in the upcoming interim setup. The sources within PTI said that in a meeting of the party's central executive committee with party chairman Imran Khan in the chair, the party also agreed to back any of the two credible names - Tasaduq Hussain Jillani and Dr Ishrat Hussain - if handpicked for the caretaker prime minister.
The party has also asked Shah Mehmodd Qureshi, PTI vice chairman, to share the above mentioned names with opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, who is busy in negotiation with the prime minister over the nomination of a caretaker prime minister.
