Memon's counsel submitted before the two-member bench of SHC that adequate medical facilities are not available at jail whereas his client needs proper therapy on a continuous basis due to severe backache. Sharjeel along with other accused has been charged with embezzlement of funds while awarding the government advertisements to electronic media.
