The Ambassador of Pakistan Shahzad Ahmad inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the 15th Edition of Project Qatar Exhibition being held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC) from 7th to 10th May, 2018, at a simple but impressive ceremony.
He was accompanied by the Commercial Secretary of the Embassy of Pakistan, Salman Ali. The Ambassador went to each of the stall and was briefed by the exhibitors about their respective products.
This year, the Pakistan Pavilion comprises of five companies supported by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), four companies entirely funded by the private sector and an additional booth managed by TDAP itself where two more companies are participating.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan's exports to Qatar rose by more than 65 percent in the first nine months of the current financial year (1 July 2017 to 31 March 2018) in comparison to the same period in the
previous financial year.-PR
