Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Friday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau's team, here on Friday in an inquiry about "clean water corruption scam." During the inquiry, NAB officials enquired from Hamza about 13 questions regarding the scam. Hamza replied to all the questions, sources said. He remained there for about two and a half hour.
Talking to media after appearance before the NAB, Hamza said, "No one is above the law and that he is not a member of the board of the Saaf Pani Company and participated in its only five meetings." He said he had faced six-month imprisonment when he was just 18 years old. In 1999, Pervez Musharraf imposed Martial Law and he attended NAB offices for about 10 years and no case of corruption stands proved. "My hands are clean, because I believe in honesty and selfless service to the people," he asserted. Taking hard to his political opponents, Hamza said that nobody has forgotten Swiss bank accounts reality of Asif Ali Zardari while Jehangir Tareen got his loans written off and PTI leader Aleem Khan is "Qabza mafia."
