Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani conferred the Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) upon General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission during an Investiture Ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday. All Services Chiefs, Senior Military and Civil Officers were also present on the occasion.
General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission also called on Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani after the Investiture Ceremony. Acting President congratulated General Zhang Youxia on the conferment of Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) and said that Pakistan and China are close friends, neighbors and trusted partners because their relations are based on mutual respect and trust, said a press release issued here.
He emphasized that Pak-China friendship is the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy and our defence relations are the guarantee of peace and stability in the region. He stated that Pakistan deeply values China's support on the issues of national and regional security including Kashmir.
On the occasion, Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia thanked the Acting President, Government and people of Pakistan and said that Pakistan and China enjoy a time-tested friendship which will further grow in the coming generations.-PR
