Soyameal on the European meals and feeds market edged lower, slipping on the back of a strong dollar and weaker CBOT soyameal futures a day earlier. South American soyameal was offered between $1 and $4 a tonne lower, with prices mostly fixed on Wednesday's CBOT soyameal futures close, which was lower on worries about an ongoing trade dispute between the United States and China.
The row may hurt Chinese demand for soyabeans and products from the United States. Rapemeal was offered between flat and one euro per tonne lower, tracking the easier trend in soyameal, but stronger rapeseed futures limited losses.
