Former chairman Lahore Parking Company and the PML-N leader Hafiz Mian Nouman Tuesday appeared before the NAB team here at its regional office to record his statement in an inquiry pertaining to Punjab Companies scam. Hafiz Mian Nouman remained at the NAB regional office for about two hours and also recorded his statement.
The NAB team handed over a questionnaire to him which he would submit to the NAB team. Talking to media after appearing before the NAB, Hafiz Mian Nouman said that he served as chairman Lahore Parking Company with honesty and made all the decisions on merit. He said the NAB is a national institution and would appear before it when called again.
The PML-N leader said that former PM Mian Nawaz Sharif set a world record by making 76 appearances before an accountability court. He said NAB must carry out accountability but it should be transparent and across the board.
