The State Bank of Pakistan's foreign exchange reserve further declined by $286 million during last week. According to weekly foreign exchange reserves report issued Thursday, the country's total liquid forex reserves stood at $16.407 billion as on May 25, 2018 down from $16.652 billion on May 18, 2018. During the week the SBP's reserves decreased by $286 million to $10.034 billion, due to external debt and other official payments.
However, reserve held by the banks slightly increased by $43 million to $6.373 billion at the end of last week.
