Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Regional Division (Central), facilitated the visit of a three-member delegation from Morocco to meet with the Pakistan Football Federation here in Lahore. Morocco has submitted its bid for hosting FIFA 2026 for the 5th time this year. According to the spokesperson of the TDAP in this connection, a three member delegation accompanied by the Honorary Consul General of Morocco Ahsan Javed visited Lahore in order to meet with the Pakistan Football Federation.
They informed that it is the 5th time they have submitted the bid and expect to win this year as their bid has been accepted but still require votes from member countries. The delegation comprised of Abderrahim Kadmiri, Member of Support Committee of the 2026 Morocco Bid, Hicham El Guerrouj, Ambassador for Morocco 2026 Bid Committee and was headed by Mohamed Karmoune Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan. Honorary Consul General in Pakistan for Morocco Ahsan Javed also accompanied the delegation to Lahore.
