A very hot and dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Tuesday. Dadu simmered with 50 degrees Celsius, Bhakkar, Mohenjo-Daro and Sibbi 49, each, Larkana, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar and Jacobabad 48, each and Rohri 47 on Tuesday. In the past 24 hours, weather remained very hot and dry in the most parts of the country. However, light rain fell in different parts in upcountry. "Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country," the Met said.
