Moving a step ahead of gaming consoles, a leading gaming firm has unveiled the first ever wireless keyboard and mouse control for the Xbox One.

Global gaming hardware manufacturing company, Razer has shown off the first wireless keyboard-and-mouse controls, dubbed ‘Razer Turret’, for Microsoft’s Xbox One that will enable gamers to play popular games including Fortnite.

The Turret bundle includes Razer Chroma and Xbox Dynamic Lighting support and works over a 2.4GHz wireless connection via a dongle. As per Razer, its battery will last up to 40 hours on a single charge. The keyboard is RGB-lit that will pair up and cause it to light up in sync with the games played.

Microsoft might release a disc-free Xbox One next year

Accompanied with it is a seven-button mouse placed on a retractable pad inside the keyboard that can be extended for use and then retracted for charging and storage. The lit keyboard includes mechanical switches along with an Xbox button for navigating to the home interface on the Xbox One dashboard. For more comfort, Razer has also included a palm rest.

Apart from Xbox One, both the peripherals are also compatible with PC. As of for the pricing, the Razer Turret will cost for $249.99 and will start shipping from the first quarter of 2019, with pre-orders already started in the Microsoft Store.

Also, at present not much games have the keyboard and mouse support and will continue to add support in more games. For now, games that have the peripheral support include Fortnite, Warframe, Bomber Crew, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, War Thunder, and X-Morph: Defense.

“We’re extremely proud to team up with Microsoft to bring you this exclusive collaboration. With the Razer Turret for Xbox One, it is now possible to bring the full experience of a keyboard and mouse, with lighting and game integration to Xbox One,” said Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan.
