Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) Karachi claimed to have busted a gang of car thieves in the metropolis. The ACLC officials said that the gang was active for last six years and had stolen about 100 vehicles from Karachi Defence, Clifton and Shahra-e-Faisal.
The gang used to forge fake documents and re-sell the stolen vehicles in Tando Adam (Sanghar) as new bank-defaulted vehicles. ACLC conducted raids in Sanghar, Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas and recovered 10 vehicles so far, they said.
