While congratulating the nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has urged the nation to rise with a fresh determination to build Pakistan as a true Islamic welfare state according to the spirit of the Pakistan movement.
In his Eid message, he said that there had been a clear goal before the establishment of Pakistan and the nation would have to fulfill its commitment to Allah Almighty in this regard. The JI chief said that the Ummah was celebrating Eidul Fitr at a time when the forces of Kufr had encircled the Islam and the Muslim from all sides. The genocide of Muslims was going on in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan while life had been made impossible for the Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine. In Burma, millions of Rohangya Muslims had been turned out from their houses and they were facing hardships on the Indian and Bangladesh border. In Palestine, the Israeli brutes had killed hundreds of Palestinians during the last three months. In Bangladesh and Egypt, the Islamic minded leaders were facing executions. Unfortunately, he said, the rulers of 57 Islamic states were acting as slaves of colonial powers. The US was not ready to withdraw from Afghanistan despite having been defeated.
The JI chief said that in Pakistan, general elections had been announced and the nation had once again got an opportunity to get rid of feudal lords, vaderas and capitalists. He said that the so called popular parties had fielded the same old faces in the elections who were the root cause of the problems facing the country and the nation.
Sirajul Haq said it was a divine blessing that the religious parties had once again united on the platform of MMA and provided the nation an opportunity to reject the forces of liberalism and secularism. He said the religious parties alliance, the MMA would emerge as a big force in the days to come.
