QUETTA: A man, his wife and their four children received burn injuries in an explosion due to gas leakage at the house situated at Zehri Town Hazar Ganji area of Quetta Sunday morning.
Gas had been accumulated owing to leakage and as soon as Gul Sakina, wife of Muhammad Nabi, ignited matchbox, explosion occurred leaving Muhammad Nabi, Gul Sakeena and their four children 13 year old Nabi Ullah, 10 year old Maleeka, 3 year old Ruqia and 1 year old Kiramatullah injured.
The neighbors shifted the injured to Burns Centre of Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta for treatment.
According to doctors, Muhammad Nabi received 90pc burn injuries.
The matter was being investigated by the local police.
