Addressing to the meeting speakers strongly criticized the former provincial minister and central additional general secretary of PTI Mohammad Atif Khan who belong to Mardan. They added that Atif Khan occupied the party in Mardan district. They accused that Atif Khan ignored the party ideological and genuine workers and allot tickets in PK-51 to Ameer Farzand Khan Brother of former provincial minister Ghani Dad Khan who was not allotted ticket by ANP and as a result he recently quit the ANP and joined the PTI for the sake of ticket.
The speakers said that Atif Khan also allotted ticket in PK-52 to another candidate who recently quit the PPP because the PPP did not allot him ticket and joined the PTI for the sake of ticket. They added that these candidates are not loyal to their parties then how they can be loyal to PTI. They accused that these candidates have joined PTI for the sake of tickets and their own interests.
The participants further said that they could not accept these decisions and will support the PTI independent candidates on these constituencies. They added that there were several parties in the country but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was established on the slogan of justice and merit and we join PTI but unfortunately PTI leaders ignored their slogans and violated merit and justice in the distribution of party tickets in the 2018 elections.
