Dozens of political activists affiliated with PTI, JI and ANP quit their parties in Tehsil Dargai, District Malakand and announced joining PPP. These political activists joined PPP during different public meetings in Union Councils Hero Shah, Wartair and Dargai. It is worth to mention here that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is contesting election from the lone constituency NA-8. These joining will boost the election campaign of PPP.
PPP's candidate from PK-19, constituency under NA-8, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha was the chief guest who welcomed these new entrants into the party fold. Those who joined PPP were included Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) affiliated general councillor Shah Hussain and other JI workers Farmanullah, Abdul Hameed, Mohammad Naeem, scores of others announced ended their association with respective political parties and joined PPP.
Addressing on the occasion, PPP candidate from PK-19, Syed Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha termed the contesting of election by Bilawal Bhutto from area a good luck for the people and a dawn of progress and development. He said political environment in the country is conducive for PPP and after the general elections Bilawal will be the prime minister while Hamayun Khan will be chief minister respectively.
Meanwhile, PPP's provincial president Engr Mohammad Hamayun Khan said PTI has become the destiny of political passengers and this reality has proved during the distribution of tickets for Senate and now in general elections.
