On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,498. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR6.672billion and the number of lots traded was 13,244.
Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 2.010 billion, followed by currencies through COTS, gold PKR 1.676 billion, gold PKR 1.353 billion, silver PKR 430.490 million, SP500 PKR 361.450 million, platinum PKR 344.644 million, NSDQ100 PKR 341.857 million, DJ PKR 62.004 million, copper PKR 48.072 million, natural gas PKR 24.134 million and Brent crude oil PKR 19.368 million.
