A light rain with thunderstorm is expected to continue in the city during the next two days, the Met Office said on Thursday. Temperature is likely to drop to 30 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday but humidity may remain high by 80 percent with mostly a cloudy weather across the metropolis. A pleasant weather is expected on the next Sunday.
An isolated rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected in Zhob, Kalat, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Karachi, Thatta, Malakand, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Bahawalpur Divisions, besides Islamabad, Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday. Thatta received 25mm of rainfall, Balakot, Saidu Sharif 23mm, each, Malamjabba 7mm, Lower Dir 6mm, Dir and Mithi 5mm, each, Lahore City, Badin, Skardu and Gujranwala 3mm, each, Chachro, Kasur and Bannu 2mm, each, Hyderabad, Sialkot and Bahawalnagar 1mm, each.
