After submission of party affiliation certificates for NA-127 and PP-173, activists of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thursday started the election campaign of Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, who is currently in London due to illness of her mother. The PML-N leaders and workers held consultation in the party's election office in NA-127 and chalked out strategy for election drive. It was decided in the meeting that door to door campaign will be carried out while corner meetings will also be arranged to spread the party message.
The PML-N leaders Uzma Bukhari and Chaudhry Shehbaz met with the party workers of the constituency. Uzma Bukhari said on the occasion that every member of the party must spread the message of the party at grass roots level. She said the PML-N had carried out huge development work and we are contesting July 25 elections on the basis of performance.
Moreover, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said the voters would give their decision on July 25 and choose their representatives on the basis of performance. "Our case will be decided in the court of public on July 25," she said, adding: "The people would use their right of vote to those candidates who performed well in their constituencies." She said that the PML-N previous government had completed many energy projects to generate electricity for meeting the country's demand.
