On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,569. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.045 billion and the number of lots traded was 6,326.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 1.309 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 666.578 billion, gold PKR 657.801 million, WTI crude oil PKR 610.124 million, silver PKR 468.433 million, platinum PKR 110.124 million, DJ PKR 82.282 million, natural gas PKR 71.472 million, SP500 PKR 51.266 million, copper PKR 14.810 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.456 million.
In agriculture 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 25.636 million were traded.
