Fatima Sana Shaikh addresses rumours of dating Aamir Khan

Bollywood newbie Fatima Sana Shaikh made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan in ‘Dangal’ followed by another lead role with him in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and since then she has been linked-up with him numerous times.

Opening about the link-up rumours that have hounded them for years, Fatima has said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that she used to ‘get disturbed’ by such reports, but has learned to tackle them.

When asked about the rumours of link-up with Aamir, Fatima said, “It’s very weird. My mother keeps on watching TV and the other day she showed me ‘Your photo has come’ and I was like ‘Read the headline to know what’s written.’ I used to get disturbed and I felt like I should explain myself.”

“If someone accuses you of something, the first instinct is to come out and tell, ‘Listen, why do you think it is like this?’ If you are an aggressive person, you will attack. If you are a submissive person, even then you will talk about it. But, now, I do not feel the need to explain because I feel no matter what you do, people will talk about you,” the actress added.

She said she is no more affected by any such rumours as she believes people who write such stuff are doing their professional duties. “I know it's their job but I hope they sleep well,” she said.

Fatima is often spotted attending Aamir’s parties, and posing with his family - wife Kiran Rao and daughter Ira.
