The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday rose for Wednesday (today) in a petition of former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi challenging his disqualification for life and rejection of his nomination papers from native constituency NA-57 Murree, as the government failed to submit its reply. The petition of Fawad Chaudhary of PTI was also adjourned for the same day. The LHC had allowed Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Fawad Chaudahry to contest elections by suspending decisions of respective appellate tribunals rejecting their nomination papers.
