Punjab Archive Department gave a detailed briefing to the Provincial Minister Ahmed Waqas Riaz here on Wednesday in his office. Senior officers gave a presentation and informed about the different sections of the department working to preserve the record and history of Punjab.
Caretaker Minister for the Department, Ahmed Waqas Riaz directed that all the affairs should be run as per laid down policy and rules and regulations must be followed in this regard. He said that as per directions of the Chief Minister Punjab, it is the duty of every officer to discharge duties for the government without any pressure or affiliation and same would be observed in Archive Department, also.
