LGH cancels leaves amid monsoon threat

In the wake of monsoon, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof Agha Shabeer Ali has ordered to cancel all kinds of leaves, to deal with any emergent situation.
During visit of different sections of Lahore General Hospital, alongwith Medical Superintendent Dr Mahmood Salahuddin and Director Monitoring Dr Junaid Mirza, he said that attendance report should be sent to him on daily basis and zero tolerance policy should be followed in this regard.
Prof Agha Shabeer Ali also directed to ensure complete functioning of four disposal stations and keeping the staff alert round the clock. He asked the sanitation staff to remain vigilant and observe cleanliness in the hospital so that patients and their attendants could be facilitated.
He asked the Director Emergency, Neuro Institute and Nursing Superintendent to remain available in their departments and perform their duties diligently. He also directed the Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital that sufficient quantity of medicine should be made available in outdoor and emergency sections.
