At least six people killed and fifteen others including women and children were injured in collision between a bus and a truck here on Thursday.
Police said that the accident took place at National Highway near Fatehpur area of tehsil Khanpur in Rahim Yar Khan where a speedy passenger bus while trying to save a motorcyclist who suddenly appeared on the road, rammed into a truck.
As a result of collision six people died on the spot while women and children among seven others were injured. According to police, both drivers of trailer and coach succeeded in escape. The police Rescue 1122 personnel rushed the scene of the accident and started rescue activities. The bodies and injured were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
