PESHAWAR: At least five militants were killed and several others injured during clashes with security forces in different parts of Khyber Agency, official sources said.
The clashes occurred between security forces and militants in Tirah, Mir Sir, Islami Sangar, Jihadi Sangar and other area of Khyber Agency have left five militants dead and eight wounded.
An official press note said one security personnel embraced martyrdom in the clashes while three others were injured. The clashes that started late night were continuing as gunship helicopters targeted hideouts of militants during the ongoing fighting.
