National Highways and Motorway Police, Central Zone (NH&MP) have set an example of honesty, returned Forty thousand rupees, and other precious articles to original heir and uphold the core values of honesty, courtesy and rendering help to road users.
The Motorway Police central zone Ahmad Pur East beat received a call from patrolling officer Azhar Hussain of Beat -24 that an APL-4 Grace van coming from Karachi has moved from Sadiqabad bypass Petrol Station by leaving behind passenger namely Muhammad Ashraf. There is a Suitcase of said passenger which contains Cash & other valuables.
On receiving information Patrol Officers were managed to trace the bag from vehicle. After making enquiries, the officials handed over the bag that contained amount of Rs 40,000 rupees and other precious articles after completion of formalities. The owner appreciated the integrity, honesty and professionalism of NH&MP. DIG Ahmad Arslan Malik appreciated the efforts of the officer of Motorway Police and granted them commendation certificates and cash reward for their excellent performance.
