As a demonstration of strong support to raise major water reservoirs, the Chairman KPT Rear Admiral Jamil Akhter responding to the positive gesture of Chief Justice of Supreme Court, Justice Saqib Nisar, has announced that officers and employees of Karachi Port Trust will also contribute towards the national cause through donation of their pays.
In this regard, Chairman KPT announced contributing two days' officers pay and one day employees pay towards the project of construction of water reservoirs/ dams to fight impending water scarcity. Rear Admiral Jamil Akhter, Chairman KPT, announced donation of his one month pay for the fund, in addition to the above contribution.-PR
