FRANKFURT AM MAIN: Germany's blue-chip DAX index slumped more than three percent to hit a two-year low on Thursday as fears over a slowing world economy sparked a global sell-off.
On Frankfurt's first day of trading this week since the Christmas holidays, the closely-watched DAX 30 had shed 3.2 percent to 10,292.53 points by 1610 GMT, before edging back higher slightly.
