Secretary Primary & Secondary Health Ali Bahadur Qazi during a surprise visit to DHQ hospital Kasur inspected the emergency, indoor wards, TB clinic, children ward, PKLI Hepatitis filter clinic, pathological lab and CT scan in radiology.
Ali Bahadur Qazi inquired after the health of patients in the emergency and indoor wards and asked about the health facilities being provided especially medicines to the patients by the hospital administration. The patients and their attendants expressed their satisfaction over the health facilities in the hospital.
Earlier, Medical Superintendent Dr Nazir gave a briefing to the secretary regarding treatment facilities and ongoing development work in the hospital. Addl. Secretary Dr Ahmad Sadain, DMD PMU Muhammad Ahmad and the officers of IDAP were also present on this occasion.
Medical Superintendent informed the secretary that on average three thousand patients visit in emergency and 25 hundred in outdoor every day. He added that four generators have been provided to maintain electricity supply to the hospital during load-shedding. However, presently one generator is providing electricity to the important wings of the hospital and remaining would be made operational after completion of wiring.
