Waheed Ahmed, Vice President, Federation Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has delivered a very balanced speech after a landslide victory in general election 2018.
"Balanced speech of Imran Khan has covered all important major aspects starting from miseries of a poor man, unemployed youth, deplorable state of economy, current financial crises, farmers issues, mistrust of people in the government due to corrupt practices, declining exports, devaluation of Pakistan currency, strained relations with neighbouring countries, poor governance and non-existence of strong check & balance system, denial of speedy and fair justice to everyone," he added.
He said "the first speech was simple and realistic and unlike usually being emotional, aggressive and harsh to his political opponents. He is a different person altogether being so humble, clam, serious and displaying matured approach most probably foreseeing and having thorough knowledge of the major challenges the country."
"His determined voice and firm pledges to the nation to uplift Pakistan to a new height keeping the role model of welfare State of Madina in view at all times is highly encouraging," said Waheed, who is also Patron in Chief All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association (PFVA). Khan's firm assurance not to take any revenge from his political opponents shows that how accommodative and humble he was as a good human being and a great leader, he said.
This "unwritten" speech was perfect blend of his firm faith in Allah, great determination and high level of confidence in the people of Pakistan while each word of his speech without even slightest glimpse of element of artificiality clearly reflected his sincerity and simplicity with his nation, he mentioned.
"We are confident that he would certainly steer this country out of current crises and as Vice President FPCCI, I fully endorse his wonderful address and assure that the entire business community stand behind him to render full support in translating his colourful dreams about nation building into reality," he added.
