Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufactures and National University of Technology have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen industry academia linkage. Chairman PAAPAM Iftikhar Ahmad told Business Recorder that the two organizations will hold a symposium jointly in Islamabad titled "Best Practices in Global Auto Industry / Knowledge of Fundamental Engineering Technology". This was decided in a meeting between Iftikhar Ahmad Chairman PAAPAM and Engr. Khalid Asghar rector NUTECH.
It may be added that National University of Technology (NUTECH) has been created through an act of parliament envisioned to be an internationally acclaimed university destined to produce national and international industry leaders of Character, Solution Providers, Technologies Innovators, in the coming years to strengthen national economy for real self-reliance. NUTECH offers different programs including Associate Degree, Under Graduate Degree, Master Degree and PhD. Iftikhar Ahmad offered various services for faculty and students of NUTECH i.e. internships, research assistance, jobs etc.
