Like other parts of the globe, 'the World Hepatitis Day-2018' will be marked today with a resolve to raise awareness among the people about healthy lifestyle and combating the challenges and risks associated with the problem.
To mark the day, seminars, walks and scientific sessions will be held to highlight the burden of disease. The interim Punjab Chief Minister, Dr. Hasan Askari, in his message said that raising awareness among the masses about protection from hepatitis is very essential. "We could be protected from this fatal disease by adopting necessary precautionary measures as prevention is better than cure."
