More than 400 companies from 30 countries will participate in two international exhibitions to be held at the Expo Centre Lahore from August 2 to 4, 2018. The 15th international exhibition of food and beverage processing & packaging and the 16th international exhibition of plastics, printing are business to business events that have attracted leading international and local companies.
The International plastics, packaging and food technology Industry Exhibition- Plasti & Pack & Iftech-2018, has become the hallmark of introducing the most innovative and latest technologies of plastics and food packaging in Pakistan. The notion is endorsed by the biggest country pavilions confirmed by China.
The exhibitors from Austria, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Malaysia Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Pakistan, Portugal, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Taiwan, UAE, UK and USA will be attending the event.
A high-profile two-day conference and forum on the second and third day of the exhibition is being planned. The global food technology conference based on the theme, "Pakistan Beverage Industry The Way Forward," will be held on the second day. On third day there will be an international forum based on the theme, "Corrugated Packaging: One Choice-Many Reasons." Prominent speakers from Germany, Pakistan and Middle East will be presenting their papers at the international conference and forum.
A unique feature of the exhibition is the participation of College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM), in collaboration with Chefs Association of Pakistan, for organizing a "Skill Showcasing Activity," by professional Chefs and COTHM students.
Plasti, Pack & Iftech-2018, is fully supported by government bodies and trade associations such as Engineering Development Board, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Pakistan Council Of Scientific & Industrial Research, Flexible Packaging Association of Converters of Pakistan, Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Engineering Development Board, Chef Association of Pakistan, COTHM, Pakistan Poultry Association, Food Association, All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Export Association, Pakistan Dairy Association, Pakistan Council of Scientific and industrial Research, and Dairy & Cattle Farmers Association.
The event is important for the industry looking to long term business ties with the leading suppliers of the related technologies which includes latest machines and materials in injection & blow molding, extrusion & blown film, packaging, recycling, food processing, beverage processing and filling, bakery, confectionery and commercial kitchen equipment, flavours and aromatics, etc.
