Jamal Kamal, the chief of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Tuesday broke the ice and announced to form a coalition government in Balochistan with the help of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). After having a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan here at latter's Bani Gala residence, he said that his party extended unconditional support to PTI to form a coalition government in the province as it is need of the hour to bring the province at par with other developed provinces.
"We'd a wonderful meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan and the senior leadership of the party. We've extended "unconditional support" to PTI as we've common core issues, so there could be no other golden opportunity to play our due role in development of the province," said Kamal.
A BAP delegation headed by Jam Kamal Khan comprising Zubaida Jalal, Khalid Magsi, Ishfaq Tareen, Ehsaan Ruki and Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar met the PTI chief and expressed fill confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan.
Kamal said that his party would work with PTI for the development of Balochistan, adding his party along with PTI would work as a team for the betterment of Balochistan and "we are joining hands for the sake of the province which lags far behind, as no party paid any heed to its uplift."
Welcoming the development, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen said the parties had agreed on all points. To a question about next chief minister Balochistan, Tareen said that BAP is the largest seat winning party and given that Kamal will be the chief minister.
PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it is great opportunity that both the parties had similar agenda which is development of the province, adding there could no other opportunity than this to end the sense of deprivation of Baloch people.
