Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is likely to get 27 reserved seats for women and five for religious minorities out of a total of 60 reserved seats for women and 10 for minorities in the 342-member National Assembly. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will get 14 reserved seats for women and two reserved for minorities. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will get 10 seats reserved for women and one for minorities.
This allocation is calculated on the basis of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)'s formula for allocation of reserved seats to each parliamentary party based on their numerical strength in the National Assembly.
As per formula, one reserved seat for women will be allocated on 4.5 general seats and one reserved seat for minorities will be allocated on 27 general seats in the assembly.
Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) may get three reserved seats for women, and one each for Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Pakistan Muslim League, Balochistan Awami Party and Balochistan National Party.
