Following the direction of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, DIG N-5 Central Zone Ahmad Arslan Malik and SSP Masroor Alam Kolachi visited families of martyred officer of the force in order to show solidarity with them on the eve of Youm-e-Shuhada Police here in Lahore.
While SSP Ghulam Jaafar paid visit to Shuhada families in Multan Sector and SSP Chaudhry Atta did the same in Rahim Yar Khan Sector. As per details senior officers of NH&MP presented special gifts to families of martyrs including one lady officer of NH&MP on behalf of IG NH&MP Aamir Zulfiqar Khan.
Martyrs of National Highways & Motorway Police are jewel in the crown of this department and their sacrifices will always be remembered by all of us. The families and dependents of martyred officers will always be looked after said DIG Ahmad Arslan Malik whiles his interaction with the families of martyred officers.
Similarly, recitation of Holy Quran was made for exalted souls of Shuhada's in all the beat offices and Line Headquarters of central zone. Floral wreaths were placed and prayers were made at the graves of martyred officers. In his message to the officers of NH&MP at the eve of Youm-e-Shuhada Police, IG NH&MP Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that martyrs of this department sacrificed their present for our future and offered highest thing one can offer by laying their lives for the glory of this department. IG NH&MP Aamir Zulfiqar Khan assured that it would be his first priority to look after the families of martyrs and his force would find him next to them in every testing time.
