Allied Bank Aitbaar Islamic banking (ABAIB) has been instrumental in providing products and services to cater the Shariah Compliant banking requirements of valued clients through its network of 117 dedicated Islamic Banking Branches covering 53 major cities of the country.
Taking a leap forward to get a strong foothold in the industry, ABL recently established its first Islamic Banking Window under conventional banking at Azam Cloth Market branch, Lahore which was inaugurated by Tahir Hassan Qureshi, CEO of the Bank.
The other senior management members present at the occasion included Shahid Amir Chief CRBG-North, Muhammad Idrees Chief IBG, Muhammad Amer Sheikh GH-CRBG, and Faisal Rasheed Ghauri GH-BSG along with respective regional heads. Prominent Traders/Businessmen including the president of Azam Cloth Market were also invited.
ABL Islamic Banking window will operate like an independent branch under guidelines provided by the State Bank of Pakistan, offering the deposit account and general banking services to its customers, while the customers seeking Asset and/or Trade Finance related business facilities will be referred to the nearest Islamic Banking Branch.
