Iranian president Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday telephoned PM-elect Imran Khan and felicitated him on the PTI's victory in July 25 election, according to Aaj News. During a telephonic conversion Rouhani invited Khan to visit Iran and the PTI chairman has accepted the invitation.
However, the visit would be finalized by the foreign ministries of the two countries after the PTI forms government in Islamabad. Khan told the Iranian president that Pakistan wants to develop a special trade and diplomatic relationship with the neighbouring country.
