Serbia's central bank purchased euros on local inter-bank market on Tuesday to tame gains of the dinar, dealers said. The bank, which so far this year bought 1.6 billion euros, intervened as the dinar traded at the rate of 117.9 to euro. After the euro purchase, the dinar weakened to the rate of 118.07.
