Deputy Commissioner Lahore / Chairman Lahore Waste Management Company (LUMC) Captain Anwar-ul-Haq (retd) has said that LWMC will establish as many as 299 UC based cleanliness camps during the days of Eid-ul-Azha for which the company has prepared its plan.
He further said that LWMC staff will be present in each camp to register cleanliness related complaints and special bags along with leaflets would also be distributed among the citizens to ensure cleanliness in each union council of the metropolitan city.
"Albark will establish 134 camps, Ozpak 140 and LWMC 25. All of them will be linked with the LWMC complaint Centre," he added. Moreover, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Assistant Commissioner City and Shalimar paid visits to the adjacent villages of River Ravi to witness the flood related activities of different departments.
The special teams of Rescue 1122, deputed at Rescue 1122 flood camps, briefed both ACs about their flood related activities. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain Anwar-ul-Haq (retd) said that there is strong coordination among all departments in view of the flood and all arrangements are satisfactory.
