The Lahore district administration has so far retrieved 162 kanal of state land while conducting operations in all tehsils of the provincial capital.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain Anwarul Haq (R) expressed these views while chairing a meeting held here on Saturday to review reports relating to the operation submitted by the assistant commissioners. The DC told the meeting that occupied land of graveyards, including Dullun Kalan, Jallukey, Gajumatta, Hanjarwal, JiaBagga and Khana Nepal, had also been retrieved. He showed satisfaction over the successful operations and directed all the assistant commissioners to continue with the operation. Meanwhile, the DC instructed all the assistant commissioners to visits different parks located within their jurisdiction and inspect the conditions of children swings and rides. "Only after the safety inspection, it will be permitted to the public during the Eid holidays," he added.
