PML-N leader and opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz has demanded setting up a parliamentary commission to probe into alleged rigging in elections 2018 and horse trading. Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly here on Sunday Hamza said PML-N law makers have taken oath as member of provincial assembly for the continuity of democracy. As a majority party in the province, it was PML-N's right to form government in the province. He said Nawaz Sharif allowed PTI to form its government in KPK as it emerged as a majority party in that province in 2013.
He lashed out at PTI, saying that a disqualified person (Jehangir Tareen) took independent candidates to Bani Gala for their meeting with Imran Khan. He said during the election of speaker Punjab Assembly, our twelve members were horse traded over which we protested. He said that 2018 general election was an unfair match as one captain (Nawaz Sharif) was put in jail and the other captain (Imran Khan) was set free to carry on the election campaign. He alleged PTI has come into power through unfair means, calling it an "unfair match".
