People belonging to different walks of life including exporters and SMEs have hailed the speech of Prime Minister Imran Khan and termed it a realistic approach. Talking to Business Recorder on Monday they said that agenda of the prime minister will steer the country of serious economic crisis and track it on right direction.
While commenting President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Zahid Latif Malik appreciated that new government is keen to resolve the problems and difficulties confronted by the business community and committed to cope with sharp decline in exports of the country. It is heartening to note that prime minister is taking drastic steps for bringing radical changes in export sector of the country, he said.
The SCCI President further stated that it is encouraging the government has decided to constitute a "Special Task Force" for the redressal of the problems and difficulties which are hindering the exports of the country. Zahid further stated that decision of promotion of SME sector is a great and timely step adding that it will not only stabilizing the national economy, but also SME sector will play its instrumental role in generating wide opportunities of employment across the country. The SCCI President on behalf the business community congratulated the Imran on assuming of the office of the prime ministership.
Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) Ijaz A Khokhar and Hassan Ali Bhatti Chairman Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA) also welcome the speech of the prime minister and said the government is taking drastic steps for the promotion of export sector and to resolve burning issues of the industry.
