Humidity is expected to remain as high as 80 percent with a maximum temperature up to 34 degrees Celsius in Karachi during the first two days of Eidul Azha, the Met Office said on Tuesday. However, weather in expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of drizzle on Wednesday and Thursday (August 22 and August 23) along with the costal belt including Karachi.
Elsewhere in Sindh, mainly 'hot to very hot' and dry weather is likely to prevail. Rain with thunderstorm is expected in Mirpurkhas division during Eid. "Seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan. Monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country," the Met said.
In the next 24 hours: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in the most parts of the country with a rain-thundershower and gusty winds in Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Sargodha divisions, besides Islamabad and Kashmir. Highest temperature was recorded in Nokkundi at 46 degree Celsius and in Dalbandin at 45 degree on Tuesday.
