Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday said that foolproof security arrangements were made to protect the life and property of the people on Eid-ul-Azha. He extended his gratitude to police and other agencies for making best security arrangements for the Eid congregations. "Nothing is important than the security of the citizens and it is satisfying that concerned departments had performed their duties diligently," he added.
Meanwhile, earlier, the CM has issued directions to concerned authorities to ensure best cleanliness arrangements during Eid-ul-Azha in the province and asked them that cleanliness arrangements should be better than the previous years. He had also directed the Assembly members Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and Nazir Chohan to visit the city along with the District Commissioner Lahore and monitor the water disposal arrangements.
