British High Commissioner (BHC) Thomas Drew on Saturday called on governor Punjab in waiting Mohammad Sarwar at his residence in Lahore. Both leaders discussed bilateral ties, Indo-Pak relations and economic ties between Britain and Pakistan.
British High Commissioner briefed Mohammad Sarwar about ongoing British assistance in education, energy, and development sectors. Mohammad Sarwar said, Britain and Pakistan are close economic partners. British assistance in education, health and development sectors in Punjab is welcoming for our government.
PTI government will establish friendly ties with all countries under leadership of Imran Khan. Thomas Drew said, Britain has always assisted Pakistan in war on terror and other issues and we will keep assisting Pakistan.
